Privacy Policy

Plain-English summary. We hold your account details, your profile, anything you upload (such as a CV), and the interviews you practise. We use them to give you feedback and to run the service — nothing else. We do not sell your data, and we do not show your interviews to employers. You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold, or ask us to delete it.

1. Who we are

TalentGyre provides AI-assisted interview practice (MockIt), skill learning (SkillOS) and placement preparation (CampusOS). For questions about this policy, contact enterprise@talentgyre.com.

2. What we collect

3. How we use it

To provide interview practice, feedback and learning material
To show you your own history and progress
To keep the service secure and prevent misuse
To contact you about your account (for example, confirming your email or resetting a password)

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your interviews to advertise to you. We do not share your interview performance with employers or your institution as an individual record. Where an institution licenses TalentGyre for its students, it may see aggregate cohort readiness — never a named student's transcript — unless you have separately agreed to that.

4. Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers, and each only receives what it needs:

Brevo	Sending account emails such as verification and password reset

Some of these process data outside India. We ask each of them for appropriate safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

Your account and profile — until you delete your account
Interviews and reports — until you delete them or your account
Uploaded documents — until you delete them or your account
Security logs — a limited period, for abuse prevention

When you delete your account, your personal data is removed. Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may remain.

6. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and comparable laws elsewhere, you can:

Ask what personal data we hold about you
Ask us to correct anything inaccurate
Ask us to delete your data
Withdraw consent — though some features will stop working without the data they depend on
Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it

Write to enterprise@talentgyre.com and we will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.

7. Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes and are never readable by us or by anyone else. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Administrative access is restricted to named accounts. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the relevant authority.

8. Children

TalentGyre is intended for people aged 18 and over, and for students in higher education. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

9. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will say so on this page and, where it matters, by email. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
